Hatha Yoga focuses on control, power & precision working to improve physical range of motion and strength. Whereas in a “Flow” class, you would be in consistent movement, in a “Hatha” class, you would come into each pose slowly and mindfully, and hold each pose for several breaths. All Hatha Yoga techniques are delivered and are designed carefully, so that students can explore their bodes’ full range of motion through a full body work-out and control of breath.

The focus is on increasing muscle strength through holding poses longer duration thereby increasing stamina, toning the body and improving concentration. Hatha Yoga is a powerful discipline for cultivating physical, mental and spiritual strength, health and balance. Progressive techniques of breath, posture and movement cleanse, stretch and strengthen the body as well as focus and calm the mind and stop the white noise inside. A deeper experience of the Self becomes possible through consistent practice of Hatha Yoga.
